Hi - good to see you again.
Don't forget - leave a message on the Contact Wizzer page if I can help with anything
Do you suffer from email overload?
Sounds like the start of a headache tablet advert!
What I’m asking is not a general question. I’m sure the straight answer is a resounding YES.
But what I want to know is not about those spammy unsolicited messages but those you receive from people you’ve agreed to receive them from.
Specifically I want to know what you think about receiving emails from Randy & myself regarding Blogging Beginners or WizzerSays.
I know that the vast majority of people who start a program, buy e-books, personal development stuff etc never finish and many don’t even open the first page!
To encourage our members to do what it takes I’ve been sending emails to new Blogging Beginner members reminding them where they should be and encouraging them to get in touch with ANY questions they have or if they simply don’t know what they should do next.
I’d love to hear your opinion – should I stop doing this?
If you are a Blogging Beginner member what do you think – have I become a pain?
Looking forward to your thoughts.
I may not change – it’s for your own good you know!!

Being a Blogging Beginner I have the same question, do you get to many questions from me???
No, the emails are fine. But be prepared to get answers. Pass the popcorn please.
Denise’s last blog post..Backyard Pond
Keep the questions coming – it’s what keeps this whole thing alive. Mark
IMHO… MOST of us that paid for this membership ARE on a mission. It is such a pleasure to be involved with folks that aren’t pushing “the latest and greatest” new stuff with every breath they take. Instead we have folks that actually seem to be genuinely interested in delivering what they already promised. That’s fresh air men!
Every email or post you send may not have something of interest to everyone of us at that moment. But, knowing you are there and with us until MISSION ACCOMPLISHED… well, personally – I’m grateful!
So – don’t stop following your heart with this because, as a wise dude once said, ” Give, and it shall be given unto you; good measure, pressed down, and shaken together, and running over, shall men give into your bosom.”
– John
Hi John, What a great comment – you are, of course 100% right. Both Randy & I are sick of the over-hyped empty promises and wanted to provide what people really want – help on their mission. We’ll be there – ask away – whatever you need we’ll do our very best to help. Mark (Wizzer)
Hi Mark,
I like the style you guys portray, kind of laid back and personal. I enjoy getting your emails and reading your post. Myself, like many other folks have bought into programs & or membership sites that wasn’t worth the time it took to purchase the product much less being of any help to us. What i hate is to get slammed with offers for the “latest greatest thing” since canned beer!
I have learned more from Mark & Randy since joining blogging beginners almost 2 weeks ago, showing us how to do things the right way, than I had learned in the previous 2 years. Great program guys! Love the videos too!
Hi Tom That’s great to hear – really pleased we’re getting it right. I too have bought in to stuff that just left me fuming – no personal involvement after the sale and in the main that’s my focus with Blogging Beginners – getting to know our members personally. Randy and I are agreed there’ll be no promotions of the latest “whizz, sizzle, money spinners” although there may be recommendations from time to time if they’ll really help. But only if we use them ourselves – plus we’ll tell you why you might want them. Don’t you just love those “hypey sales” promotions where you don’t know what you buying until you’ve signed up? Let us know if you need anything
Hi Wizzer,
I want to know how to put PowerPoint and PDF files on my posts or pages. That is a link from post or page to PowerPoint or PDF files.
Regards
chris
Video showing you how to do this has been created – will be in members area later.
I love the midas touch and don’t mind a bit. I’ve also belonged to several sites and this one by far feel more at home and personal. I’m lov’in it and see that there is so much useful info. Now I just have to crack the whip and quit getting distracted!
DS
Thanks David, that’s really great to hear – like your Blips!
Hi,
I like the personal way you guys do things and it’s great that I know I can get advice by e-mail as well as getting your videos. I am being mentored by someone else at the moment who has taught me a lot but is missing the personal touch that you both have. This means that the slow learners or the people at the bottom have either lost their way or feel abandonded and probably will give up. so thanks again for the personal help .
1 question “Traffick ” that seems to be my hardest thing but I also know I have to do more work .Wizzer thanks for the comment on my blog as well.
Des
Hi Des, thanks very much for your comments – it’s great to be appreciated.
Turning to traffic we’ll cover that in the members videos – take a look at those on Social & twitter as a starter plus Randy’s Continuing You Blog videos. We base our guidance on “free” traffic from Social Networks, articles and Search Engine placement although you can of course opt for ads if you wish. That costs but can be quicker. More on this subject to come. By the way, added a link to your blog in the sidebar
Actually almost all the videos have to do with getting traffic from the search engines, at least the ones I do, I always seem to get off topic on on to SEO stuff in almost all the videos
Wizzer is the Social Butterfly and spends a lot more time on Twitter, FriendFeed and other sites.
The SEO stuff will get you traffic but you can get more using both the SEO and the Social aspects.
Randy The Hermit’s last blog post..The Truth About SEO For Blogs
Maybe because you’re a self confessed SEO geek? Absolutely, never rely on one traffic source. If you owned a shop you wouldn’t just rely on one source of customers – you’d put ads in newspapers, mail drops, signs, window dressing etc etc – they’re all different methods for driving traffic.
Hi Wizzer,
I like the idea of you staying on top of us new bloggers. I always get overwhelmed and it helps me to stay focused. It kind of lets me know that you really do care. I am going to stay on top of this bloggers beginners, so just keep them coming. I was not able to start on this right after I got it, because I had to move my dad from Neveda to California, he is 81. But I am back on top of it so I will be jumping in with both feet.
Thanks again, I think that with this site and Marketing Beginners I can help my small list to see that they can do it too.
Roxanne Life is Good! Really!
Hi Roxanne Thanks for taking the time to comment and let me know your thoughts – that’s very encouraging. Hope you dad didn’t find the move too stressful.
Don’t forget to let us know when you some help – anything blogging or business related.
I want to thank you for staying on top of us. I am like some of the others that have written before me. A little overwhelmed at times, and it is nice to have a reminder that if I need help, I have it available. I am still on the keyword research. I have had others explain how to do keyword research but not so detailed and plain. I agree with John O Gilmore Jr many only want to sell you the next best and/or the latest product, that I really have no need for or don’t have the foggiest clue how to use it. Thank you and Randy for the approach you have taken. I am grateful and know that I will finally be able to make a profitable blog and website.
Hi Ruby, thank you for your encouraging comments. Like you I’m subjected to the seemingly non-stop barrage of latest and greatest products. Some are in fact very good but generally once you know the basics there will only be a vferey small percentage of any of these “new” products that is actually new to you. Keep plugging away – it will all fall in place.
Hello Wizzer.
I appreciate the inquire regarding too many emails. Never too many from you fellows as it supplies a genuineness that someone actually gives a rip about what’s going on behind my browser. It is overwhelming tho, but I’m responsible for that. For me, after a year of self-inflicted suffering with online ‘stuff’ I’ve begun to leave lists like there’s no tomorrow. My criteria: 1st ones to go–total sales oriented. I’ve been on so many lists for so long I’m now in the recycle mode with them. In otherwords, what they said 6-9 months ago, is now repeating itself. There’s no relationship in that at all. Secondly, there really isn’t a need to buy another thing, I simply want to make one thing really work well. Without having to buy “patchwork” pieces to make it effective. That’s why I’m here. Care and concern does not get old, nor does information that is effectual and holds a complete answer. So, I say … keep ‘em coming Wizer and get on it boy(s)!
Wow, thanks. What a great endorsement. Like you I’ve been on so many lists it’s untrue. Every so often I purge and leave just the few core ones from which I really do get some benefit but over time they increase and I have to go through the process again. You know, to watch this video – just enter. And then just when you’ve forgotten the sales pitches start arriving!
I think you are 100% correct. There really isn’t a need to buy anything else. Every so often a new tool arrives that will help / make life easier but the basic techniques are all the same.
Great Product – Locate Customer – Put them together – provide great service – follow up
That’s been around for every and will probably never change. It’s just how you do some of those things that can be tweeked.
Thanks very much for your comment.
Hey Guys,
I agree with the others and am anxious to become competant(sp) enough to share BB with others in style. While I feel stuck at times….you guys never fail to encourage, educate and motivate.
I will spreading the word and oh yea almost forgot….
You make learning FUN
David :0
Thanks David, glad you’re enjoying yourself.
Hello guys
I cannot say how much I have learnt here in your course. The videos are awesome as you take time to explain everything. I am still stuck on keyword research but looking it over twice..I think I am ready to take on the challenge.
I want to be the first blogging expert in my country a small rock, called Trinidad and Tobago and therefore I am happy for all your emails. Even if there is email overload, your email is by far the one I would open and look forward to your advice
Thanks for your caring and concern

Hi Judith, thanks for your support & comments, much appreciated.
Glad you’re enjoying the videos. The keyword stuff is the hard part. Once you have the direction and framework you’ll be away. No 1 blogger!
sorry first line should read…I cannot begin to say how much I have learnt in this short time…compared to the others.
anyway…I am sure I will be your success story for Trinidad and Tobago…my brains is old but I have the motivation,…lol
Judith Young-Ruiz´s last blog ..Some Motivational Thoughts for today….
You’re never too old. Everything is about attitude and I can tell yours is spot on.
Wizzer
Hey Judith,
Don’ t worry about the brains being too old. We have more staying power than a lot of the youngsters and life has taught us a lot of stuff that may not be computer/internet related, but is essential at making a success of something.
Susan
Hey Susan
I agree actually. My 12 year old son picks up technology immediately. He sends stuff from one phone in our house to another – I end up with Pokemon screen savers and all sorts – yet I had no idea you could even do that! He is so typical of youngsters today.
But, perseverance when things don’t right? Forget it. They come from a throw away society and just move on to something else. Us oldies have experience of life that we can draw on – worth it’s weight in gold
Some of us just need a frequent kick in the butt to keep on course. I for one am thankful that you are sending the emails to me. I do get a lot of emails a day but I always open yours. Just dont try to sell me alot of stuff and I will keep opening. I am enjoying the videos and learning and think you guys are the “real deal”
Thanks

Hi Corinne
I agree – we all have limited time and as long as the material we receive is helpful we will continue to read. I only hope we can exceed your expectations with the information we provide.
Thanks for commenting.
Hi Wizzer
I don't mind receiving your emails. I signed up at Blogging Beginners on I think it was Dec 9 I haven't had too much time as Dec was a very hectic month for me.But I have had chance to look over some of your guys training video's and I must say they are fantastic training materials, very well put together and understandable I think even I could learn from them, thank you very much.
I look forward working with you guys in the new year. I am a beginner in this blogging business I am anxious to learn as much as I can.
Happy New year and keep the emails coming.
George
Hi George
Thanks for the vote of approval! Glad you’re finding the videos useful. Keep in touch and let us know what you need or if you have any questions at any time
Happy, Prosperous & Healthy New Year
Thank you for your email. This email is perfect and it is very reassuring to know that you and Randy really care about us and are there, if ever we need some help.
Not long ago I received an email from a well known marketer who would give me his phone number if I wanted assistance but required $4,995.00 for this service.
I have no hesitation in recommending Blogging Beginners to anyone who wants to start an Internet business.
Regards
David
Hi David
In my opinion there’s far too much huff and puff on the internet – marketers spouting on about customer service and maintaining relationships with their “lists” but they see that only as a means of selling more stuff.
There’s absolutely nothing wrtong with marketing but I think it’s imperative that you really care about your subscribers and customers and provide them with what they need. They are not just a meal ticket as so many online seem to think.
Terms like – my list, newbies etc all just go to prove how personal some people get with their customers
Hey Randy
The support is great!. My question is, I started a blog on WordPress using Fantastico, Hostgator, etc… before I got your training on Keyword Research.
Now I totally get the Keyword Research piece (It's EVERYTHING!). My domain name is pretty close but not what I would have picked if I knew what I know now. Should I build categories and posts around it or start over??
I only have a few posts and stopped last November once I decided to do more Keyword Research. (http://www.naturalleanbody.com/blog)
Mark
Hi Mark
As you already have your site set up and the domain name is close I’d build your categories and posts around it. The domain name hellps if it contains your main keywords but it’s not essential.
By the way – be careful when using the link to your blog. I couldn’t find it at first as the link you posted showed a 404 error. It tuirns out to be because the folder into which you installed the blog has a capital “B” and you need to use this – ie http://www.natuaralleanbody.com/Blog
Hi Wizzer,
I, like everyone else appreciate your emails and support. Being overwhelmed is an understatement for me. I am also a member of another program (article marketing) and I'm trying to figure out which would be the best strategy to begin with…starting a blog first or focus on article marketing. Sometimes I think I'm too analytical which slows me down in making a decision. I have no doubt I can do this. It's just the hesitation in making the right choice that will lead to success.
Bonnie
Hi Bonnie, I think you should get your blog started first. Then do a full article that you post on the blog and a slightly altered version (perhaps less complete leaving some things out – a teaser if you like) and submit that as part of your article marketing plam. The article will have your Bio Box at the bottom telling people to come to your blog for more. That way you are using the articles to best effect and getting what you need – visitors to your site.
Now you need to keep them there, get them to come back & be in a position to contact them yourself. So set up an Opt-In with some sort of free gift as the enticement for doing so.
Don’t worry about getting it perfect – you can always improve things but if you’ve not done it all nothing will happen.
