Do you know a way to be sure that a product or affiliate program is still selling well with the economy like it is now?

This is a good question but a hard one to answer.

Unless you can get the owner of the product to tell you how it is selling you won’t ever know for sure. Remember this, just because it isn’t selling or is selling for someone else doesn’t mean you will have the same results.

When ever you look for affiliate products you should:

• Review the product – actually use the product and see what you like about it

• If you aren’t reviewing the product you should check the sales page and see if it makes you want to purchase.

• Check to make sure the price is in line with the product being offered.

• Try to contact the company selling the product just send them a simple question and see if you get a response. There are a lot of people out there that have old sites up that they don’t maintain any more. This will check to see if it is still fresh.

• Offer more than one affiliate product and see which produces the best for you and then feature that one in the more prominent areas.

• Continue to add more and test them against the one that is doing the best.

• Try putting your affiliate links in different areas and if you know how actually track these areas so that you know which are doing the best.

Products are still be sold online people are still spending money but I like to make sure people get their moneys worth. I can’t do this unless I know the product that I am promoting. In the last week Frank Kern sold over 200 of his Mass Control product at $2000 each so people are still spending money.

But to know which products you will be able to sell from your site can only be done by testing.
