How Do You Make A Really Great Blog Title?

Question

My question is how do you make a really great blog title? Keyword are essential but what else?

I am also looking for info on sticky posts. I looked in search video and did not find it. I have a plug-in on Backyard for it. I want my first post on the blafeo blog to be sticky.

Answer Provided

First with the Post Title.  This really depends on your reader
some like formal, some like hype, some like innuendo and some
comedic so it really depends on the group of people you are targeting.
I usually like to ask a question that I know they have asked before
or that they know the answer to because either way they will read
the post.

Basically, it is what ever gets your readers attention.  Remember
I get almost all my reader from the search engines and they see the
title I put in using All In One SEO at the search engine.  But the
description also sells them.  If you haven’t watched the Anatomy
of an Optimized Post you should check that out.

Stickys are set when you create the post or you can make them
sticky with a quick edit.  In the visibility section when you are writing
the post you can on the edit beside Visibility:  Public and you will see
a checkbox to make the post sticky.  Make sure you click the OK
button before you publish.

With the quick edit you just go to edit posts, find the post you want
and click on quick edit on the right side next to published you will
see a checkbox for make this post sticky.  Check that and update
the post.

I think I covered this in the WordPress 2.7 video but I am not sure
to be honest with you.

Now on to Blafeo.  You can’t add plugins to Blafeo because that
would require complete database access which is something we have
to control when we have multiple users on the same blogging service
the same thing you see with WordPress.com or Blogger.  With that
said the OnlyWire Plugin should be there you will have to activate it
but it should be in your plugin admin area.  If it isn’t let me know.

Any other plugins you would like let me know and I will see what
I can do.  They do have to work with WPMU so I have to test them
before I can release them.
