Hi - good to see you again.
Don't forget - leave a message on the Contact Wizzer page if I can help with anything
Blogging instructions supreme! OK, I am, of course, slightly biased but I am so pleased to confirm the official launch of blogging beginners .
The Press Release has gone out and there’s a load of activity going on – interesting how many Twitter comments I’ve seen today – the net seems to have gone pretty wide.
If you don’t already have your affiliate links set up it would be a good idea to login to the blogging beginners Members Area and get your link now. Post it wherever you can and see if you can benefit from the extra coverage where getting right now.
Who better to spread the word than you? Existing happy members who are benefiting from our blogging instructions!
Regular visitors will know I had a little competition going on with Randy – and here’s proof that his blogging instructions work.
I took his keyword “blogging instructions” and thought I’d see if I could use his methods and leapfrog him on the first page of Google results for that term. (click on image for full screen & then on your browsers BACK button to return here)
Success…
If we look at Yahoo for the same term (again, click on image for full screen and Browser BACK button):-
Success…
So following blogging instructions from someone who knows what they are doing is clearly a very good thing to do!
Not one penny was spent in getting those results, just good old fashioned search engine optimisation and keyword research as taught by Randy at Blogging Beginners.
It’s probably about time I started hearing your success stories using these strategies – you must be up there by now – OR maybe you haven’t followed the instructions – Go On – “Do It Now”
One of our latest members at blogging beginners w asn’t thinking he was in need of real blogging instructions but had a few “issues” with Wordpress that he was struggling to put right.
I’ve always believed in “customer service” NOT the type you get in Customer Service Departments (what a misnomer those things are – the last thing they provide is service!) but what we all really know what is required:
Doing what you should to help someone and going the extra mile without thought of “what’s in it for me”. Oh yes, and doing it before you’re asked!
Then after changing my theme to a much more manageable one, I had a small issue I couldn’t fix and when I asked him about it, he made a 5 minute video and sent it to me with detailed instructions on how to complete the process — I was blown away! Mark and Randy are my idea of what customer service should be everywhere.
We all do what we think is right and then someone actually stands up and tells you.
I can’t tell you how good that makers you feel.
Thanks Kevin – you’re a gentleman (That’s probably just a quaint old English saying – in modern day terms – You Rock!!)
Based on Kevin’s feedback I’ve decided to give something a try. I may live to regret this but I’ve decided to add a “Chat With Me On Skype” facility to WizzerSays. It’s already over there in the sidebar.
Now here’s the deal:
I’m in the UK and I won’t be getting up in my pajamas in the middle of the night to tell you how to put your cat out. (Those of you who know me from Guru Fodder will understand the pajamas reference!
I have a full time business away from the internet which means although I’m near my computer most of the time I’m not available all day everyday.
I have a family and I do move away from the computer at weekends
If I’m here I will chat with you and provide answers to your questions or if I don’t know I’ll find out.
The plugin I’ve installed looks pretty good but I’ve not fully tested it yet – bit hard to call yourself so please be patient while I iron out the wrinkles.
So you want to know how to put video on your blog but you don’t want to buy Camtasia.
I received an email today from Lon Naylor – the Camtasia expert from ScreenCastProfits in which he told me about Screen Toaster. Thanks Lon. (He’s one of my Google Friends in the sidebar).
It’s an online service that enables you to record your PC screen (just like Camtasia) and Callouts (just like Camtasia) and Voice Overs (just like Camtasia) but it’s free (unlike Camtasia)
Is it any good? We’re about to find out together.
This was totally off the cuff, no preparation and no prior knowledge of how it works so excuse the “content” or lack thereof!
Initial thoughts?
Good, bit slow on loading but easy to use. Once created easy to add callouts and the screen shot. Easy to embed – just copy the code and paste in to blog post (make sure your in HTML screen and not Visual, in Wordpress I mean). The size is just fine for the width of this blog – so any Mandigo users won’t go wrong either.
Give it a try. Just sign up and you can start immediately – you don’t even need to wait for their email to arrive.
One of our members asked “How do I add Powerpoint and PDFs to my blog pages?”
It’s a great question that is easily answered but thinking back I had great difficulty in accomplishing this task when I started.
The video showing how this is done is now in the blogging beginners Members Site Download area – you can login in the sidebar – and here are the files I uploaded in the video.
They’re not very exciting so please don’t think you’re getting something for nothing!
