“How to FTP” – I’ve heard the question many times and decided it was time to provide some blogging instructions for anyone still struggling with this “monster”. 
It really isn’t as bad as you may think at first but I do understand why using ftp causes so many challenges for so many people.
Before I provide a full answer I’d be really grateful if you’d take this quick survey so I can tailor my response to exactly what is required.
It would also help, so that I get a wider perspective, if you could Tweet or bookmark this post with the Social Bookmarking services so as to get as many responses as possible.
I’m anticipating the request will be for a video showing exactly how to use ftp so those blogging instructions will be provided free of charge to not only Blogging Beginner members but by way of a video I will make available here on WizzerSays and also You Tube.

I don’t want to learn FTP I just want to know how to get my stuff on the internet.

I have some good news & some bad news. BAD NEWS – You have to learn FTP or GOOD NEWS – you have to use the old postal service. Just bundle everything you want to get on the internet in an envelope and address it to:
The Webmaster
WWW
The Universe
No stamp required. I think it might get there!
I've just got to grips with FTP and once you get your head around it t hen it's pretty easy. Just don't do the same mistake as me – make sure you use Secure FTP or SFTP. I didn't and had my site access details grabbed and some malicious software installed on my site. A valuable lesson was learnt.
